The largest force of trained combat teddy bears in the Tedlands. These fluffy fighters are a strategic organisation responsible for stemming the tide of The Nightmare, protecting the Nexus Gateway that leads to our world and recruiting new bears to train into efficient un-stuffers of anything that would threaten their human charges.
Due to the diverse range of tasks, TTHQ have trained professionals in every area. From frontline troops to covert ops; from comms experts to developmental science and combat application technicians.
TTHQ has all areas covered and runs a huge risk every day to ensure that their operations are not compromised by teddy bears becoming Forgotten or joining the Hunters’ cause.
Criminals, deserters, misguided and unstable teddies. These scavengers, thieves and murderers survive in the vast wastelands of the East Tedlands in tight-knit groups known as “Families”.
A lone teddy in the wilds is unlikely to survive the harsh environment for long. Whether it’s the ravenous wildlife and corrosive weather conditions, abominations of The Nightmare or another group of Hunters. But in a family there is protection, shelter and a strong sense of camaraderie and teddyhood.
The Tedlands beyond the high walls of TTHQ is an unforgiving place. Survival comes at a high price and the payment is often bullets and stuffing. The Hunters keep stocked up on ammo and gear by executing precise raids on outposts and supply convoys, attacking with such speed and ferocity that their prey hardly has a moment to react.
Their family tag is often found painted or carved at the scene to expand their notoriety with TTHQ and other families.
The Tedguard are practically legends.
Walking proof of love after the pain of loss.
Every Tedguardian has experienced the loss of their charge, feeling the gaping void open with the passing of a loved one and finding the courage and strength to choose light over darkness.
In death a teddy is not forgotten. Instead the love remains without a counterweight. An infinity symbol with one half missing, leaving only a teardrop glinting in a vast black ocean. An ocean of solitude, silence and time.
Time enough to train the mind to bear the sadness. Time enough to train the body to fight on when other teddies have exhausted their strength.
Through all the pain comes this resolve: The Nightmare can never own them. With no one to remember them they can never be Forgotten.
And so they step into the darkness unafraid and fight. Fight for heritage, fight for the loss of their charge and fight for all those that The Nightmare would seek to claim.

Light up the Darkness
A dark and profoundly overwhelming feeling takes over a teddy when they are forgotten by their charge. It is different for every teddy but the common symptoms are feelings of despair, loss of purpose and eventually a mind altering rage.
In the maddening oblivion of abandonment there seems only a void filled with internal screaming fury, manifesting itself in thrashing limbs and snapping jaws, a total loss of restraint.
Yet through the deafening silence comes a voice that quiets the mind, a voice made of a thousand voices. Beckoning, welcoming, promising a release from the pain by joining the collective mind. An invitation to be a part of something greater than the sum of its parts, something that will never forget.
Driven by a ferocity and armed with permeating numbness, the Forgotten can appear unstoppable. Pairing this with their overwhelming number begins to bring their formidable power into perspective.
The very nature of a hive minded assault means that any Forgotten teddy in the sleuth can be missing several of its senses and still be as effective in combat as the rest of the wave it runs with.
